Greg McKertich 1972 - 1995

A photograph of one of his sculptures, "Reproductive Component", located at Cannizaro Park in Wimbledon, was used for the poster to advertise the 1993 annual exhibition, by students and artists associated with Wimbledon School of Art.

After graduating he shared a studio with a friend and continued with his stone sculpting.  To make ends meet he worked as a waiter at TGI Fridays in the Strand.  He was a gregarious person and loved to be in the company of others.  His sporting interests were rugby, soccer, athletics and judo, and he enjoyed playing the guitar and organising discos.
